Tournament 5/29/2007 : Fremont Junior Novice tournament. Austin entered in the Boys 12 Single. He played two matches. Both were close, but unfortunately neither ended in victory. All of these pictures are from the second match. Austin lost the first set, won the second, and then barely lost the tiebreaker 11-9. The tennis courts were surrounded by chain-link fence, so I took these pictures by putting the lens as close to the fence as possible. That mostly worked OK, though in a few pictures you can see faint ghosting from the chain links.

Tournament 10/29/2006 : Austin entered his first-ever tournament in the Boys 12 and under Novice category. He played two hard-fought matches. He won several games, but ultimately his opponents won more.
